FILIPPO AVIGNONESI

Curriculum

For 10 years he has been teaching workshops and has done performances in Italy, France, the U.S.A., Germany, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Cyprus, Ukraine and Russia.

He´s especially requested for workshops, because of his didactical abilities. He is now also part of the teaching staff of Alejandra Mantiñan.

He has partnered with Alejandra Gutty, Emilia Cerutti, Eliana Sanchez, Francesca del Buono, Valencia Batiuk, Samantha di Paolo, Chieko Kawashima, Anna Maria Ferrara, Natalia Ochoa and several other accomplished dancers.

His dance and didactics are mainly inspired by Horacio Godoy, Alejandra Mantiñan, Melina Brufman, Geraldine Paludi, Javier Rodriguez, Valencia Batiuk, Pancho, Martin Ojeda, Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frigoli, Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Alejandra Gutty. In the past he also studied with many many others, too numerous to mention.

In Buenos Aires he has performed exhibitions in the milongas "La Viruta" and "Sunderland".

He has danced for several TV shows on Italian National TV RAI and has made further appearences on Japanese and Russian TV.

Over the years he has danced for several Orchestras including Hugo Aisemberg's Novitango, Four for Tango, Luis and Miguel, Jorge Arduh, the Quinteto Arrabal at the Berliner Philarmonie, La Nacional, Soledad, Triunfal and others.

Filippo is fluent in Italian, English, Germanand Spanish.
